Movement Assessment & Rehabilitation

Physiotherapy in Sarnia

Move better, reduce discomfort, and build lasting physical function. Our practice focuses on how your body moves. We explore movement, strength and other factors that may be contributing to pain or physical limitations.

Our Clinical Approach

Understanding movement in everyday life

An assessment looks at your concerns and how you move. Your plan is tailored to your goals and may include education, movement practice and progressive exercise.

Biomechanics is simply the study of how your body moves. By looking at posture, daily movements, and strength, we help you understand your movement patterns and build functional capacity for the activities that matter to you.

What to expect during care

1

Individualized Movement Assessment

Your first appointment focuses on understanding your history, symptoms, and movement patterns. We look at your motion and functional strength to understand the factors involved.

2

Shared Goals

Care is centered on your personal priorities, whether that is returning to work, recreational activities, or moving with greater ease throughout your day.

3

Education & Progressive Exercise

We emphasize practical guidance so you understand your movement. Your plan is tailored to your goals and may include education, movement practice and progressive exercise.

What to bring to your physiotherapy appointment

Wear or bring comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that lets you move easily. Shorts can be helpful when assessing your hips, knees or legs. Choose clothing you feel comfortable in, and let us know if you have any questions before your appointment.
